This Privacy Policy applies to the Nano Banana 2.1 Prompt Helper Chrome extension (the Extension), provided by the operator of nanobanana-21.app.
The Extension helps you build, edit, copy, save, search, and reuse image-generation prompts. Its prompt tools work locally in your browser. The Extension does not generate images; image generation is a separate service available on nanobanana-21.app.
The Extension uses chrome.storage.local to save:
This information remains in the Chrome profile where you use the Extension. The Extension does not use Chrome Sync and does not provide cloud synchronization. We do not receive or have access to this locally stored information.
Prompt text is free-form. If you choose to enter personal or confidential information in a prompt, that information is stored locally in the same way as the rest of the prompt. Avoid entering information you do not want stored on your device or copied to your clipboard.
The Extension processes the information above only to provide its visible features: composing prompts from templates, restoring your draft, showing and searching saved prompts, and letting you edit, reuse, or delete them.
The Extension has no analytics SDK, advertising SDK, remote AI call, or background data-transfer service. It does not create an Extension account or associate local prompts with a website account.
When you click Copy Prompt or Copy, the Extension writes the selected prompt to your system clipboard. It does not read existing clipboard content and does not request the clipboardRead permission.
Your operating system, browser, or other applications may retain or synchronize clipboard content according to their own settings. Clearing Extension data does not clear your system clipboard.
The Extension requests one permission:
chrome.storage.local so they remain available after the popup closes.The Extension does not request host permissions or access to browsing history, tabs, cookies, identity, location, downloads, files, camera, or microphone. It has no content scripts and does not read or modify pages you visit.
The Extension contains links to the image generator, Extension information, this Privacy Policy, and support pages on nanobanana-21.app. A link opens only when you click it. The Extension does not place your prompt or saved data in the link URL and does not automatically transfer that information to the website.
Opening a link creates a normal website request, so the website may process connection information, cookies, and other website data under the website Privacy Policy.
If you paste or submit a prompt, upload a reference image, sign in, purchase credits, or generate an image on nanobanana-21.app, those actions occur on the website and are governed by the website Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. A website account and credits are required for image generation.
The Extension does not transmit your local prompts to us or to third parties. Because we do not receive this information, we do not sell, rent, share, or use it for advertising, profiling, or model training.
Your draft and saved prompts remain in local Extension storage until you replace or delete them, clear the Extension's local data, remove the Chrome profile, or uninstall the Extension.

After all local data is cleared, the Extension returns to its bundled example template. The bundled example is part of the Extension and is not user data.
Keeping prompt data local reduces data transmission, but no device or local storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Protect access to your device and Chrome profile, and avoid saving sensitive information you do not need.
The Extension is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the Extension. The Extension does not transmit user-entered prompts to us.
We may update this Privacy Policy when the Extension's features or data practices change. The current version will be published at this URL with an updated date. If a change materially affects how the Extension handles data, the related Chrome Web Store disclosures will also be updated.
